Cabin Fever Series: Birds and Migration Magic

Where have all the birds gone? Join Master Naturalist Laurie Hylen for an indoor introduction to the birds that migrate and those found in the park in the winter. Learn some steps for bird identification and make a mini-bird feeder. A spotting scope will be available indoors. If conditions are right, you may head outdoors for 10-15 minutes to look for active birds. Please dress appropriately for the weather. This event is recommended for all abilities and ages. Please leave pets at home.

Meet at Sanderling Nature Center, which will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bathrooms and a water fountain are available inside. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
