Cabin Fever Series: Every Drop Counts

Master Naturalist Karen Merlau will do a program on CoCoRaHS (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network). CoCoRaHS is a unique, non-profit, community-based network of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds working together to measure and map precipitation (rain, hail, and snow). It is a national citizen science project. Everyone can help, young, old, and in-between. The only requirements are an enthusiasm for watching and reporting weather conditions and a desire to learn more about how weather can affect and impact our lives.

Join Karen at the Sanderling Nature Center, which will be open from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bathrooms and a water fountain are available inside. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.

The program will take place rain or shine.
