Accessible Wildlife for Any Ability

Do you love taking wildlife photos? So does Steven Thompson. Please join Steven for a journey around Wisconsin, focusing on tips and tricks to photograph wildlife in accessible locations. Steven will share what he has learned about accessing wildlife opportunities, especially in the eastern part of the state, since his disability journey began in 2019. He’ll share many accessible locations, from state lands to local parks. This photo exploration will last a little over an hour and is open to all.

Meet at the Sanderling Nature Center, which is open from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Accessible bathrooms and a water fountain with a bottle filler are available inside. A Vehicle Admission pass is required and can be purchased online or at the Park Office upon arrival.
