Insect Safari

As summer winds down along the Lake Michigan shore, pollinators and other bugs swoop and swarm. Join naturalist Phyllis McKenzie to search for and catch pollinators and other insects in the park while learning about some plants you can use to create a pollinator haven. Plan to bring along bug repellent, sunblock, and a bottle of water for this 90-minute safari. We’ll meet at the Old Gate near the campground and chart a course from there. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet Phyllis at the Old Gate near the entrance to the campground west of parking lot P4.
